Based on the ‘Time Sheet’ principle, thismodule is designed to interface with avariety of time & attendance and inputdevices – including biometrics, magneticswipe cards and iridology. It will enable you toadopt a cohesive approach to managing jobfunctions and gain a definitive understandingof your organisation. A detailed record ofcompetencies for every employee, plus arecord of their career development, can becreated. Job descriptions and associated key performance indicators (KPIs) are alsoan integral aspect of this module.Competency & Job Profile provides the userwith an integrated approach for job profiles,competencies and learning references,enabling your organisation to be competency-led.

Organisation Charting

When a corporate group, head-office, branchor departmental restructuring occurs, anorganisational chart can place strategicdecisions into an operational perspective.Since details of the physical structure of yourorganisation are maintained by chris21, oncethe restructuring changes are applied, it is asimple procedure to produce graphical chartsusing third-party products such as ORGPLUSTM and VISIOTM.

P11D reporting module (UK only)

To meet UK statutory reportingrequirements relating to benefits andappropriate expenses, this module enablesdata to be presented in the approvedHMRC (Inland Revenue) format forelectronic data interchange.

Travel and Subsistence / Vehicles (UK only)

This module calculates vehicle mileagepayments, automatically enters this datainto the payroll system and creates a vehiclehistory file. And you can be assured ofcompliance with statutory rules for paymentin accordance with vehicle type, CO2

emissions category and miles travelled etc.

Expense payment and control (UK only)

While expenses can be paid within payroll,this module also provides a facility to payexpenses as required. Accounting entries are created and bank transfer facilitiesinitiated for employees claiming these non-taxable payments.

Salary packaging (Australia only)

This module is able to apply the varyingallowances and benefits that determine anemployee’s overall salary package, as well ascalculating tax efficiency based upon localtaxation rules.

e-Xpense Claims (currently S.E. Asia)

The e-Xpense module allows employees toenter claims online (e.g. medical and dentalexpenses) and automatically route eachclaim to the appropriate manager forapproval and authorisation, prior to re-imbursement via payroll or bank transfer.

These claims can also apply to anemployee’s dependants and payment rulesare defined by the user and can be adjustedat any time.

Performance planning and development

Define goals, objectives and KPIs for eachand every job function within yourorganisation. Frontier Software’s e-Performance module makes it easy to deliverthe tools required by line-managers forperformance management. An unlimitedhistory is maintained and managementtriggers are applied so that any outstandingreviews are undertaken in a timely fashion.

Furthermore, a workflow approval processis initiated to ensure that the correctperson(s) approve the review – which couldincorporate additional development(learning events) to be undertaken and anychanges in associated salary / allowance.

Award Interpretation

Designed for use in countries whereemployees are covered by an IndustrialAward stating the terms and conditions ofemployment, this module automaticallygenerates the correct payments according tothe shift that is being worked and the actualhours completed – a huge time-saver.Payments can vary according to which daysof the week have been worked, whetherminimum working hours have beencompleted, plus any payments due uponabsence etc.

Recruitment Agency Billing

Raise invoices and create a variety ofmanagement profitability reports accordingto the various rates of pay received whencontractors and temporary staff are placedat a client organisation. Frontier Software’sRecruitment Agency Billing solutionintegrates with our Payroll Managementmodule to automate the entire billingprocess for recruitment agencies. Anunlimited history of hours is maintained foreach job completed by a contractor, so thatdatabase queries can be answered at anytime. In addition, country-specific taxationrules are adhered to, while all associatedaccounting entries are created automatically.

Lecturers Contracts & Claims

Generate payments due according to actualhours worked by part-time lecturers (claims)and maintain a complete contract historyusing Frontier Software’s LecturersContracts & Claims module.
