DESCRIPTION
This presentation was spurred on by a student who was dead-cert against these means of helping out those in even more dire need than those here in the United Kingdom. Victims of actual wars, genocides, gang rapes and other unspeakable atrocities. Of course, we need to invest wisely at home but when we spend less than 1% of national wealth on project overseas - compared with the whoppers invested into our NHS (they give a great service, but why are we expecting them to pick-up the tab for every smoker and lay-about Larry) - can we deny the starving in Ethiopia or the chemically-mutilated in Syria? Anyway, the slides are more erudite!

Give a Goat!• In Sudan and Bangladesh a goat
can be a lifesaver, providing enough milk to keep the whole family healthy. Goats can also be bred and sold, allowing poor parents to generate income to pay for food, education and vital medicines for their children.
