Approx. 600 people die in household fi res a year. Almost a third of them are children.Close to 6.000 people sustain serious burns, which lead not only to bodily damage, but pschological eff ects as well. All of these fi res are caused fi res.These fi res are often caused by smouldering of defective elec-trical devices during welding, loss of control of normal fi re use or in similar situations.Fires can be extinguished by suffi cation. An extinguish blan-ket should be quickly used, an should be present at the scene of the fi re.

The JUTEC fi re extinguish blankets are made of texturized fi bre glass fabrics according to DIN 14155 or of a fi bre glass fabric coated on both sides with silicon, according to EN1869. The blankets are packed in various ways: in a transparent plastic shopping bag, a red thick plastic bag with two metal eyelets to hang it on the wall including two straps for easy

withdrawl or in a metal box that can be mounted on the wall.

These blankets are not for application during welding or any similar work. For this JUTEC has a spark protection covers that, when laid out, protect objects, machines or furniture from soarks, welding drops and metal splash up to 1300°C contact heat.
