Fellowes Galaxy E (500)
Welcome to MyBinding presentation. Today we're looking at the Fellowes Galaxy E, an electric plastic comb binding
system.
Let's see just how simple it is to make a book with the Galaxy E.
Once you've gathered your materials, you can make some selections at the top of the machine with the buttons
according to the size of your project.
Turn the machine on with the power button in the back , lift the lid, you're ready to go.
Use the wheel on the left hand side to set the margin for the entire project.
This keeps things consistent in punching in the right place
Align your papers and feed them into the slot of the throat on the back of the machine.
Be sure to have everything jogged evenly and slid to the left against the margin control setting.
The E of Galaxy E stands for electric. The button on the right hand side allows you to punch up to 20 sheets of 20lb
paper per punch
When your covers and all your sheets inside are punched, it's time for binding..
The Galaxy E can bind a project of up to 500 sheets of paper.
There's a very handy comb size selection guide located inside the chip tray; use it to measure your book and make the
best possible comb selection.
Slip the plastic comb over the spine of the comb opener.
Use the handle on the left to open the teeth of the comb.
Be sure always to keep your teeth faced up and your project faced down;
that way the project does not fall apart when in use. Simply thread your booklet over the teeth of the comb.
The binding unit on the Galaxy E is removable
This allows two people to work simultaneously, one to do the punching and
one to do the binding. With all the teeth threaded through the project, close the comb with the handle.
With all the teeth threaded through the project, close the comb with the handle
It's just that easy with the Fellowes Galaxy E 500.
