What is fast food?

Fast food is food that is prepared and served quickly in restaurant

chains.

This cookery consists mainly of hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, french

fries, pizzas, sandwiches and suggests the widespread use of a variety of sauces such as mustard,

mayonnaise and ketchup.

This recipe was brought to North America by many German

immigrants to the United States.

The name comes from the legend that the nomadic people of the Tartars,

native to central Asia, having no time to cook, put the meat under the

saddles of their horses to find it softened at the time of the meal.

Tartare steak is popular in Tsarist Russia and was very appreciated by the

sailors in Hamburg.

It is probably the ancestor of the modern hamburger

Street food…

Street food is ready-to-eat food or drink sold in a street or other public place, such as a market or fair, by a hawker or

vendor, often from a portable stall.

Food is often the same as the fast food but produced with healthier ingredients.

In recent years Mcdonald's has made burgers with traditional Italian ingredients. For instance Mc Italy or the more typical "Calabrese" is a sandwich stuffed with strips of peppers and salami from Calabria; Radicchio and Asiago Dop cheese, are the two ingredients that make up the "Veneto".

The new products are available in all outlets of the Italian McDonald's fast food chain.

CONCLUSIONS

Each of us is free to choose, based on personal tastes and desires. To prefer a system rather than another is a matter purely related to an individual's choice and the "style of life."
