1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media

products?Title uses a unique font which stands out and attracts the readers attention because of the contrasting colours and boldness

Main cover line is a different colour to the others so it stands out more

Offer of free stuff encourages people to buy the magazine

Header tells the reader what other bands/artists are featured and encourages them to buy the magazine

Other cover lines are smaller and tells the reader about the other main articles in the magazine

Main image is an angry expression because this is conventional in rock magazines

Magazine title to show what magazine the page belongs to

List of contents to show the reader in more detail what is included in the magazine

More detail on certain articles

Page numbers to tell reader what page articles are on

Big main image, shows reader who article is about

Bold title, tells reader what article it is listed as in the contents

Used Drop caps to show the start of the article
