Programming process
Partnership AgreementsPartnership agreements between the European Commission and individual EU countries set out the national authorities' plans on how to use funding from the European Structural and Investment Funds between 2014 and 2020. They outline each country's strategic goals and investment priorities, linking them to the overall aims of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
Position PapersBased on the lessons learnt during the 2007-2013 programming period and the Commission's legislative proposals for 2014-2020, the Commission prepared for each Member State a position paper on the development of Partnership Agreement and programmes for the period 2014-2020.
Operational programmesThe programmes are prepared by each member state and present the priorities selected by the national and regional authorities for the programme period.
