Here is the image before editing. I am happy with the colors and contrast, so I wantedto experiment with different effects available on Photoshop.

I used the selection brush tool to select the background of the image, more importantly, the sky, as I wanted to manipulate and change this area.

I applied the effect “wind”, which added strong brush strokes to the end of the clouds, makingit look like wind was blowing through it strongly. I liked this effect, as it was unique and different.

I then applied the effect “reduce noise” too remove the hardness of the lines, and removesmall areas of pixilations and make the image look more smooth.

Finally, I applied the effect “surface blur” to the sky so that the lines became more blurred, and the effect wind appeared to be more natural.

I enjoy this effect, as it demonstrates my experimental and risk taking abilities withinPhotoshop. This effect makes the image look unique, and eye-catching.
