Don't Find a Way to Make Traffic Sources Work
In this post I'm going to teach on traffic. The title is "don't find a way to make traffic source work" Now, have you ever wondered why people talk so much about why finding your own traffic is so important. They talk about it but who really does it? Not very many. Most people want the easy way. There is no easy way when it comes to generating profit from traffic. At least that is how it seems to me.
I see so many traffic systems that promote traffic streams that make promises. I even see people stating the fact that they have all these new subscribers but fail to mention their sales conversions.
You see, you can have all the traffic in the world but If it doesn't converts into sales, it doesn't even matter. Unless you're selling one of those systems, at the very best, they are usually good for a one time sale. You always have to be selling.
It might as wall be just another affiliate program that builds somebody else’s list so that they can find buyers and move them towards more sales opportunities for them.
So, how can we get real traffic. Traffic that converts into sales. Not just traffic so that we can try to sell a traffic system so that we can get as many sales as we can until the well goes dry. Until that traffic becomes so saturated with all the competitors building that new traffic source out?
Now, There is always going to be work involved in traffic that really works. There really isn't any free traffic. You spend your time and money creating the content and you spend time and money putting it online so free isn't really free. With that being said, as part of the work involved in getting traffic that buys, you need to test and tweek from time to time.
Maybe it will have to be when ever you have enough traffic to do this tracking and tweeking because you can't get effective analysis with only 50 or 75 subscribers so maybe you have to get more than 100 or 200 to get really good information but you will have to do work.
Working traffic sources can be talked about on the internet but are most strategies really effective? Most people learn and create a way to make their offer fit a traffic source. Now the reason for getting effective traffic is for sales conversion right?
We aren't going through all the trouble to get traffic just to get views and opt ins. We are getting it to generate income. Now if you're in a non profit I can understand but most business builders are trying to generate traffic to make sales.
Let me just say again that most people try to make an offer fit different traffic sources. By doing it this way you are going to work even harder and will most likely struggle. You might get a few sales and might even have a windfall (one in a million, just being true here) but if you cant make that windfall happen month in and month out, you really don't have a business. With all respect and love, you really don't have a business.
You can't take time off when you want. If you have a house payment you might loose it because to are fully into your home business. There are many things that can go wrong. And yes, there are times when everything matches up but very rarely does it work month in and month out.
So what can we do? What can we do if we cant find a way to make our offer fit into different traffic sources? What do we do? We find traffic sources that work for us. We don't find traffic sources that work for others or traffic sources people say are good just because others are supposedly having success there but we find traffic sources that work for us.
So how do we do that. In my opinion, there are many ways. But here's one way you can start. Put up a one time offer. Now you can put one up right away right after they opt in or you can do it later. But it has to be soon. The only reason I say soon is because I think opt ins are looking for a solution within 10 days or so.
Some will not buy right away and need some nuturing. Maybe you have to provide more credibility in your campaign. Maybe you find later on that people purchase your first offer in 7 days. Maybe 12 days or maybe you have a one time offer that is there only for credibility and there to target a certain niche in a bigger income bracket.
Maybe people that don't buy cheap products because they brand you as somebody that sells cheap products. Maybe you become successful selling lower priced products.
Now there is nothing wrong with selling lower priced products (you have to know your mission) I'm just saying that there are many ways to do this and as you grow you will see what's best for you. But say if you wanted to see if a traffic source works for you, invest in some traffic in a few traffic sources.
See how many people buy your one time offer, preferably right away. Ditch the ones that have almost nobody buy. I say do it right away because you want to save time and money doing this. So what you can do is buy traffic today, present a one time offer to see if they buy today or tomorrow then if they do buy, buy more traffic to the traffic sources that work. Don't wait months to see if something works.
Eventually you should narrow them down to the best one or two so that you can maximize your time and learn how to compete in that traffic source but yes, I believe you should eventually narrow them down to one and get the experience to have many more in your back pocket when you need them or when one starts slipping.
Now I really believe that you should have to have your website expert presence to make that traffic source work but that is another training.
You can go in and see if you can start narrowing some traffic sources down today. Don't want until you have everything set up perfectly. Perfection is imperfection and know you'll have a learning process.
Try different things. Different activities work for different people. Get some buying traffic and grow from there. You'll make it easier to have success and grow. You'll save time and money. You'll get more confidence and get the passion you knew you always had. Your hard work will not be wasted. Live out your dream.
So don't find a way to make traffic sources work. Find a traffic source that works for you and with this post I hope I have helped just a little on your road to success.
