In the Business Schools is the training for 99 % Management Training

and NOT about enhancing your personal Visionary Skills.

You have your way, I have my way.

As for the correct way, the right way and the only way, it does not exist. Friedrich Nietzsche.

DARWINIAN MANAGEMENT

Darwinian Management starts with :

Discover and follow the Evolutionary cycles of Yourself, Businesses, Products, and

Brands.

Pay attention to the life cycles of the staff and stakeholders.

Every operation, from an individual perception to a Business Merger follows the same Darwinian track.

Bridge the unconscious and enhance your visionary skills.

DARWINIAN MANAGEMENT AN EXAMPLE

Suppose that you are a junior assistant Marketing. You have a Ph.D and you are engaged in Company Alfa. The company Alpha just was taken over by a very ambitious and fast growing competitor Gamma. There is a weekly meeting planned with the Sales department from Alfa, the marketing from Alfa and the marketing from Gamma. A first thought for the junior assistant Marketing should be which cycles play in the whole process? First, there are the product cycles from Alpha and Gamma, which most probably will be different. One may have a cash cow product and the other could have launched recently a new product. The second point of attention is the Power balances. There is the power of the departments and the evolutionary position they are in. But also people gather power and come as an individual to a stage in the evolutionary cycle of the person’s career. Here we have to add the personal cycles of the other players. Some are young and ambitious; others are in the mood to move to another job etc.

DARWINIAN MANAGEMENT AN EXAMPLE

It will take some time and many meetings and conversations before you can map the whole situation. The reward when you do this systematically is that you have a personal model from where you can plan your steps in line with your own plan. Moreover, you will find out that you get a grip on what’s happening and that you are able to forecast the different moves and evolution of the whole.

Next are the attractions and repulsions between the individuals, the sexes, the generations, and the cultures.

You won’t get the model finished or complete; it remains dynamic. But this is not the issue; what counts is the continuous process of analysis and synthesis in a concept which you develop in parallel with the technical job content needed for the business.
