If you are ever involved in putting together a conference and are looking at ways to improve the educational outcomes, the happiness of sponsors and the delegate feedback, then you have come to the right place. I understand the importance of ensuring delegates are engaged, involved and emotionally invested in what is going on in the conference room. There are three main ways in which I can help you deliver a terrific conference experience to your stakeholders: If you wouldn’t normally consider using an MC at your event because you’ve seen them in the past and they don’t really add any value to the conference program, you DEFINITELY need to speak to me! It is possible for an MC to make an enormous difference to how much delegates learn and enjoy themselves at your event. In fact, it is more than possible. It is imperative. The science of learning is much more complex than putting delegates in a room and having them sit through presentation after presentation … after presentation … after presentation. Through the research I do to ensure I know the people and the issues, through my entertaining speaker introductions, my quick-witted ad-libbed summations at the end of each presentation and my use of music and humour I ensure that delegates feel the event is designed with their well-being and education in mind. Often for less than the price of one speaker (who speaks for 40 minutes) I can provide one or two entire days’ worth of delegate maintenance and improved outcomes.

Are you looking for a motivating, enlightening and upbeat keynote topic (especially for that hard-to-fill slot after lunch on Day Two)? Try my “The Power of I – The Positive Impact of Individual Influence” Keynote, which inspires delegates to be mindful of the effect their actions and words have on the world around them. Delegates will learn, laugh, interact with each other and some even have been brought to tears as this Keynote makes them consider their value and their power amongst their colleagues and customer and even family and friends. Keynote topics include:

How are we responsible for changing the people and the world around us?

The value and use of humour in the business world

Presentation Skills tips

Advice on how to avoid Death By PowerPoint

Clever ways businesses can stand out from the crowd

When organising your conference, you can get the food right, the best AV crew, the most stunning location and even the most auspicious and accomplished person to give a keynote … but if your event features speaker after speaker who can’t engage the delegates, you are severely limiting how much they will learn from attending the event.

I offer Presentation Skills coaching for groups and for individuals (who may want to polish up for a specific presentation).

Most excitingly I am just introducing a new service called:

If you have a presentation to deliver and want your slides to be designed so they don’t bore or drive delegates crazy with learning-limiters like too many points on a page, tables crammed with information that can’t be read and a font size that requires binoculars, I can go through and format your slides so they are easier to learn from and easier to use.

became It’s the simplest thing you can do to make your presentation more valuable to your audience. You’ll never again be accused of committing Death By PowerPoint!

My CLIENTS appreciate that:

1. I am easy-to-work with

2. I understand how to balance the serious side of business education with an understanding of how to keep delegates engaged, enthused and entertained.

3. I provide them with several ways in which they can improve the outcomes of their event (by being an MC, Facilitator, Interviewer, Keynote Speaker, Presentation Skills Coach or a Team-Builder)

4. I write my own scripts, so they are relieved of a large workload. My INDUSTRY COLLEAGUES:

1. Consider me a thought leader on delivering educational outcomes at corporate events and I am regularly asked to speak at Event Industry conferences on the topic.

2. Enjoy following my on-line commentary on these issues. My DELEGATES are:

1. Extremely grateful to have someone on hand who is clearly trying to maximise their ability to learn.

2. Usually surprised how much an ‘outsider’ can appear to be such an ‘insider’

3. Mentally on their toes at all times as they wonder how I will introduce the next speaker, what interesting piece of information I will reveal about the people they thought they knew well and what intriguing and often left-field conclusion I will reach after having heard someone present.
