• On the 9th of January, our recovery

team was dispatched to a hijacking

scene where a super link truck had

been hijacked.

• Despite the unit continuously giving

jamming signals, the professional

teamwork between the control center

and the ground team led to the vehicle

being recovered in under an hour.

• On recovery there was no load. An

immediate backtrack was done and

the load was recovered close to

Alexandra.

• Five suspects were arrested and two vehicles that were used in the crime

incident, recovered.

• On the 12th of January, our recovery

team was involved in a recovery in the

Richards Bay area.

• A ground team was immediately

dispatched after receiving an alert that

the truck and trailer of RTL Construction

and Plant Hire were stolen from their

yard.

• The team managed to recover the truck

and trailer within 55 minutes. Upon

arrival at the scene, they uncovered a

syndicate that was linked to activity in

the greater Kwa-Zulu Natal area.

• The team’s quick response also led to them seizing various vehicles that were

involved in crime in this area.

• The quick response by Ctrack and its ground team proved the effectiveness of

teamwork – not only to recover the customer’s assets, but also ensuring that

perpetrators are brought to book.
