SenseA product that can monitor your bedroom environment, sleeping habits, and gives you an analysis of your sleep

Sense raised $2 million + in Kickstarter and $40 million in

venture capital from well-known investors from their

original goal of $100,000

Things I like about this project and its video:

Has sensor data and variables that monitors to generate a score for your previous night of sleep

Let’s you know any sleep disturbances that happened last night. i.e “Ah, the garbage truck broke my sleep cycle at 3am. I didn’t even realize that.”

This photo was from Sense advertisement ad. I like its video because it portrayed different stories about side effects of lack of sleep, which you can relate. But after using ”Sense”, everything in their lives has improved because they can now sleep well.

Why Successful?

Big companies have already spent millions of

dollar to develop a system that can enhance

sleeping. Sense has created a perfect device

that is suitable for almost everyone’s need to get a

good night rest.

Detects your food if it has spit on it

Saliva Scanner Have raised $304 very shory its goal of $85,000

Things I dislike about the crowdfunding project

He didn’t actually build a machine capable of detecting saliva. He hasn’t even proved he could do it.

He didn’t have any video about this project

Why Unsuccessful?

• Who would spit on such a nice man’s burger (Unless you’re a rude customer –some people does)

• Not really a need for many people – Gives a restaurant a doubt that they spit on their food.
