“In a global knowledge economy, organizations depend more than ever

before on the capabilities, creativity and engagement of their people.

But attracting and retaining stars or so-called A players is not the key

to sustained success. Talented individuals certainly help their

companies succeed, but an organization's outcomes will be

improved evenmore when it develops and channels

everyone's abilities.”Accenture

When we feel good,

comfortable

with ourselves,

eyes heavy with the inertia

of filled moment , just wish to stay in such

state of mind, we may or may

not realize;

there is need to have a look at

the moments to come.

Page 4: Creative Destruction

The moments in the pipeline contain nano particles of numerous different substances, different directions, force and a lengthy agenda representing many

unfilled or half filled desires and needs.

We, then, realize that the time to come demand something different than what we are capable of.

Page 5: Creative Destruction

In our comfort zone we keep us

in a state of inertia –

preference to a comfort zone;

Its like acquired

change deficiency–

Page 6: Creative Destruction

When one honestly cares, the Universe steps in to create a space to rise above the circumstances towards the coming moments.

Within this space lies freedom and power to evaluate the response. In this space one meets inner challenge to evaluate the self, and to destroy the superficialities.

Page 7: Creative Destruction

Creative destruction is a positive change that

enables creating

moments –

Page 8: Creative Destruction

..for further creating sense of

direction and control.

Page 9: Creative Destruction

When a change – like giving up old convictions or habits, or accepting some thing uncomfortable but useful - is indispensable, turbulences are always in waiting.

Page 10: Creative Destruction

As a child we come into this world with a blank slate – every moment in a life is change, a making, a living, a growing, an

evolvement – from blankness to better state and

from one state to another.Possible only through comparing two experiences and eliminating

wrong one from active use for life and growth.

Page 11: Creative Destruction

When the life itself change and evolves every moment,

why not our thoughts and knowledge keep the pace? Are the habits so strong as to deny the most natural thing in the human life – the mutation –a change or alteration to

respond the dynamics.

Unfortunately dinosaur could not think, only compared experiences once stored.

Page 12: Creative Destruction

We may see a big picture with numerous particulars. We may not be in seeing them all.

We may exclude many things. We may focus of selective few.

We may not pick up the finer points of the selected few.Any experience needs to go in to a memory system.

An experience can not be removed from the life – no ‘Undo’s. We remember the experience but not the finer

points.

Page 13: Creative Destruction

The probabilities - First, the experience is

forgotten – a link to memory within the brain

is lost or removed. Next, the new

experienced is not stored legibly in memory

or values of new

experience are not perceived appropriately

or the associations of the

new experience are not formed properly.

Page 14: Creative Destruction

We only recall the label, but not the pathway. If we know some values were generated, if every action has equivalent

reaction, where the values have gone? In the ignorance bank or Recycle Bin?

Page 15: Creative Destruction

Utility of the memory depends upon following things-

EvaluationWhether it is understood in full depth

and right meaningAssociation

Whether it is linked for all dimensions in the memory

PathwayWhether it is accessible fast

whenever requiredEmotional Emphasis

Whether the strong feelings, sentiments are attached to

memoryTogether they constitute a value in

one’s mind.Like a cell value in a spreadsheet it

defines values of other connected cells.

Page 16: Creative Destruction

This is the way, Mother Nature expects a Human to build the own life – with the values which provide criteria for Unity or Harmony,

relations, Karma and consequences.

Page 17: Creative Destruction

When any new experience is about a event previously experienced -One needs to look at it as an opportunity to redefine the total

experience outEvaluation, Association, Pathway, Emotional Emphasis

A change in earlier knowledge value takes place. Like a new value in existing spreadsheet cell, it is necessary to

change all associated values in all connected cells.

Page 18: Creative Destruction

The habits are like roots gone too far - automatic routines of behavior that are repeated regularly, without thinking. Habits are formed by a person in comfort zone over a period of time through cognitive ways, perceptions, emotions, beliefs and behaviors and influences the behavior. They sink into different layers of neural connections get increasingly strengthened and reinforce our behavior making person possessive about them.

Page 19: Creative Destruction

Old habits become a second nature, or instinct. The whole life of man is a huge bundle of physical, vital and mental habits and he lives through these habit- such canalized behavior reflects through

each of human thought and action – repeatedly – an attitude.

Page 20: Creative Destruction

Habits pose a strong deterrent to Harmony, create multiple personalities. Person resigns to the consequences – but not

permanently. Only killing the neural networks by not using them consciously

habits can be killed – a change in ways again.

Page 21: Creative Destruction

The Harmony or disharmony of these

value with those of other people, decides

outcome of thought or action – internally or

externally. The disharmony leads to confusion, dissent,

friction, conflict or struggle.

Most of all it leads to

undesired consequences.

Page 22: Creative Destruction

The disharmony should prompt

either1. To see whether

one’s values need a review,

or2. One’s values

need to be communicated

to others.The Harmony is

required for freedom from

struggle of living and

struggles for going beyond.

Page 23: Creative Destruction

We have millions of memories, emotions and our own values of them while living in the dynamic world.

Whenever we come across any undesirable consequences in life, first thing we do is look outside for a cause

to blame.

Page 24: Creative Destruction

Looking externally is truly essential only to find out the cause of friction and

identify the gap - to correct it – either through internal correction or concept selling to others concerned. This is re learning – living a change.

Page 25: Creative Destruction

A broad mind may enquire it naturally. For a narrow mind, such exercise calls for a big change – a turbulence,

difficult to manage. So many relations are based on earlier values, so many vested interests – the old values are so habituated that one thinks – that’s the life –

the consequences, pains, pleasures – all becomes part of life. No complaints, no regrets.

This is because one’s societal acceptance is based on these values – any change may destabilize all the structure.

A Great Risk.

Page 26: Creative Destruction

To unshackle from such bondage, one needs to

streamline the inner forces.

In such moments one need to be together with body, mind

and the spirits – in Harmony. Failure to handle

it properly opens one to a compulsive demands for

change in time to come – as a condition for comfort. This is, then, something that happens, which has to accommodated. A change – for which one is not willing

and ready.

Page 27: Creative Destruction

This is encroachment in one's life, loss of freedom and one does not live normal life made up from one's experiences and values.

One's mind treats encroachment as something foreign – no assimilation – a compromise where one's

heart does not go with the change. It is an encroachment and a cost paid for the way we handle our life?

Page 28: Creative Destruction

Gradually the short comings do divert our focus, really costly when

we are solving some major problems. The costs, then, are

magnified in relation to the opportunities and happiness

potential.

Consistent experiences of this type, over a period, get

accumulated and need a major change – a transformation - in

future if one aspires freedom from encroachments.

Page 29: Creative Destruction

Transformations always need a take off and always associated

with a turbulences.

It leaves person consumed, distracts from one's

normal pleasures and priorities – and many are unwilling to be

away from usual comforts.

Page 30: Creative Destruction

Turbulences are not respected ever, the fall out is very serious. One

starts being overly reactive, and following

habit of finding the causes outside of the

self, looks others as enemies, becomes

hostile, invites struggles.

Violence is the ultimate thing where it can end.

Page 31: Creative Destruction

Shelter of the known is always

comfortable, status qua is always

justifiable.

Think what will happen if

the chicken continues to seek

comfort of the egg shell or rose petals

refuses to leave the warmth of bud

sepals?

Page 32: Creative Destruction

This is something about the change that originates externally. What about a change that originates internally?

One's aspirations and dreams provoke to get empowered for achieving the aspirations – how one responds to such demands.

Page 33: Creative Destruction

In both cases, every time a scenario needs to be created followed by action plan.

A strong commitment, relentless efforts, review, reinventing and refinement are all needed in short a change.

One who sustains these, always achieves the aspired.

Such a person is known as 'self made' person.

Page 34: Creative Destruction

No outsider can know about the inner shackles. Its costly not to take preventive empowerment.

“Organizations are products of the ways that people in them think. To change for the better, people should get the opportunity to change the ways they think.People can learn to alter their attitudes, beliefs, skills, capabilities, perceptions, conduct their work or level of commitment.” Peter Senge
