Creating my front cover

This is the first step of creating my front cover. I decided to place the main image and the title on the page first so that I could work around them. The image is important as it tends to be the main feature of the front cover.

To make my cover have the correct look I then added the essential details such as a barcode, price, date etc. I then added typical conventions to the cover such as the tag line. This helps to give the magazine a more professional look.

This is the final stage of my front cover. I think the way it is set out, draws attention to the main story, which is important on a front cover as it will attract attention from the correct audience. I tried no to over load the page with story lines and therefore spaced them out and placed then strategically.
