• As of today, most of the snacks offered to the customers classified as “Bad snacks”.

• “Bad snacks” means insalubrious, unhealthy snacks, mostly containing large amounts of calories, saturated fat, Sodium, Potassium and Carbohydrates together with low levels of Protein, Iron and other important vitamins, if any.*

• Examples for “Bad snacks” are: potato chips, corn based snacks, Nachos, pretzels, crackers, Doughnuts, cookies/biscuits, popcorn, sweets/candies, chocolate bars, pita chips, Cheese puffs and more.

• In “Bad snacks”, the ‘good nutrition values’ to ‘bad nutrition values’ ratio is very low, meaning, bigger bad nutritive values and small amount of the good ones.

• Consumers increasingly aware of the quality of the food they consume and more concern about the benefits and advantages this food delivers.

• Consumers increasingly prefer to consume good, healthy and expedient food and by that to waive the bad food and put it out of their menu.

• Food’s nutritive advantages become more and more a significant component in the consumer decisions concerning what food to put in the menu and on what food to give up.

• Nowadays, it is hard to find snacks with clear and significant beneficial nutritive composition.

• There is a small amount, and only in a specific places, if any, of healthy, tasty, fresh and natural snack, that actually can be beneficial, from the healthiness point of view, to the customer.

• There is a real need among customers to some kind of food- snack, that can be satisfying enough both as a healthy snack and as a tasty one.

• Edamame is the closest form to the natural ingredient of the soy beans.

• Edamame is a fresh and natural product and not a genetic engineered form of food.

• Edamame is an excellent source of nutritive ingredients like rich proteins, energy, vitamins, minerals, dietary fibers, antioxidants and many others.

• The U.S. CDC defined Edamame as a ‘Super or Wonder Veggie’ as it is the only vegetable that contains all nine essential amino acids. This makes edamame a complete protein source.

• Establishment of destined kiosks inside selected malls to sell fresh Edamame snacks.

• Fast raw material heating, based on ready to use product (no cooking or special preparations need), served fresh to the customer.

• The kiosk is a ‘stand-alone’ module - set and ready to use.

• A professional chef designed an Edamame- oriented menu with special dips, sauces and extra additions, all amazingly fit to the flavor and texture of the Edamame.

• The menu will be renewed from time to time in order to match it for the customer’s preferring.

• Especially for the project, a unique server had been designed, that allow the customer to enjoy fully from the Edamame while preventing from soil the environment with the wastes- the server has a place dedicated to the wastes.

• The customer will have three sizes option to choose from: Small, Medium and Large- Each has a fitted special server.

• When the kiosk setup process will end, a wide range of marketing actions will be taken in order to assimilate the product among customers:

o Tastings from the product with the dips and sauces in the menu will be distributed among customers.

o Commercial roll-ups stands will be placed near the kiosk, explaining the product and its benefits.

o Commercial bulletins will be distributed around the shopping center to maximize the word spreading.

• Finally, this is an innovative and unique enterprise that provides a great solution to the consumers’ need.
