Foreword
Along with the vigorous development of the Chinese stock market, the
need for empirical research on the China stock market is accelerated.
However, comparing with the well-developed overseas stock market
researches, domestic academic market research is fewer and indigent.
Among them, incomplete and inaccurate data, fussy program of data
extract and export are the main reasons for preventing the development of
the China stock market research.
In order to conquer these obstacles and promote research on the Chinese
stock market, GTA IT Co., Ltd. designed and developed CSMAR® Series
Research Database System (CSMAR System) on the basis of existing
number of large and accurate databases. CSMAR® system is a large
retrieval system which can load all GTA databases, such as CSMAR® China
Stock Market Trading Database, CSMAR® China Stock Market Financial
Database, CSMAR® China Stock Market Financial Database - Financial
Ratios, China Fund Market Research Database, China Bond Market
Research Database, China Futures Market Research Database, China Stock
Market IPO Research Database (A Share), China Stock Market IPO
Research Database (B Share), China Stock Market Cash and Stock
Dividends Research Database, China Stock Market Rights Offering and
Seasoned New Issue Research Database, China Stock Market M & A, Asset
Restructuring Research Database, China Stock Market Corporate
Governance Research Database, etc.
4
The user-friendly interface of CSMAR® system enables users to access and
analyse the needed data easily, rapidly and accurately. GTA IT Co., Ltd.
offers daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual update of data
according to the characteristics of each database and users' requirement to
ensure the continuity and timeliness of the database. On the basis of the
previous standalone version, .Net version offers good solutions for
questions raised by users, and provides interfaces of different styles, as
well as more convenient search mode.
We hope that the release of the CSMAR.NET will not only lead to
accelerated and quality development of empirical research on the Chinese
stock market, but also add more breadth and depth to Chinese financial
market research activities, which will enhance the structured development
of the financial market.
