Observation lights

• Care givers disinfect their hands before any procedure on the baby. They have to switch on the observation lamps which is again a physical contact with the switch - which means to disinfect their palms again.

CIC 101 provides an unique solution here…….

Obervation Lamp

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure ( CPAP )

1. Sophisticated electronic oxygen-air blender. The oxygen concentration and oxygen-air flow rate are variable.

2. Auto Calibration

3. Gas Supply check

Used to induce spontaneous breathing in infants by applying a constant excess pressure through tubes connected to the nostrils.

Thereby immature lungs are opened by excess pressure and exchange of gases is facilitated

Height adjustment

• The height of the bed may be by operating a foot switch provided on the base. The bed and the warmer change height together so that the distance between them is maintained constant

• Foot switch given on both sides

Page 14: Comprehensive Infant Care Centre Presentation
