But what characterizes great leadership is not.
our focus and actions may need to be more flexible
Characteristics of great leadership stand the test of time.
Indeed, the times call for uncompromising leadership!
When times are tough...the tough get going!
A high performing team has:
clear, realistic objectives reviewed systematically
a shared sense of purpose
an atmosphere of openness
the ability to build on experience and ride out storms
Great Leaders...have a clear vision of the future state
foster trust by consistent implementation of the vision
have the moral courage to confront unpleasant situations
bounce back after setbacks
exude passion and zest for the organization and its goals
have unwavering integrity and personal humility
are tough but fair, never showing favouritism

An unwavering resolve to do whatever must be done to produce the best long-term results, no matter how difficult
Setting the standard of building an enduring great company
