About Us

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in Salvation through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord

and Savior. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6) There is only one living and true

God. There are three persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

(Genesis 1:2,27; Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7)

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God. (II

Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20,21). We believe Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary,

is the only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the

dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the

Intercessor. (Luke 1:26-33; Hebrews 7:25)

We believe we are justified (declared righteous under the blood of

Jesus) when we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus Christ. (Acts 13:38,39; Romans

5:1; I Corinthians 6:11; Mark 1:5) We believe that an evidence of the Baptism of the

Holy Spirit is the ability to speak in unknown tongues.

We believe in the operation of the nine Gifts of the Spirit and

encourage our people to live so that these gifts may be manifest in their lives. (Acts 2:4;

Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; I Corinthians 12:4-11). We believe in water baptism by

immersion in water in the name of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

(Matthew 3:11; Matthew 28:18-19; John 14:6)

We believe in divine healing for the body. However, we encourage and

do not condemn medical science. (Acts 3:2-12; Acts 5:15, 16; James 5:14-15)

We believe every blessing we receive from God comes through the

merits of The Atonement(Jesus’ complete sacrifice for us on Calvary). (Romans 5:11;

James 1:16,17) We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Acts

1:10,11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)

We believe those who die outside of Christ will be punished in an eternal

Hell, but those who die “in Him” shall share in His glory in Heaven forever. (Daniel

12:2; Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Jude 1:7)

We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man & one woman

and family commitment. We promote strong family values. (Ephesians 5:31-33;

Ephesians 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:5 Leviticus 18:22; Genesis 2:24)

Ministries

Music, Worship & Arts Ministry The vision of the ETCC Music Ministry is to build an army of people who have been gifted by God

with musical abilities that can be used corporately to build the Kingdom of God in this ministry. We

are focused on winning souls and equipping believers through a lifestyle of worship. This ministry

includes choral, dance, flags, and drama ministries.

Gideon's Army Prayer Ministry The prayer ministry mobilizes a united prayer effort within the church to encourage, teach and

mentor intercessors that will give priority and emphasis to prayer in life and ministry.

New Members Ministry New Members’ Ministry provides inspiration and information to new membe rs of the ETCC. We

provide encouragement and instruction to new believers, and understanding and direction to

committed Christians as they work for Christ.

It is our goal to acclimate each new member to ministry opportunities and services available through

the church.

Fishers of Men This ministry exists to go into the world and win souls for the Kingdom of God. We believe in getting

the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to this lost world. The ministry reaches out to all nations. Our

approach to ministry is one based in God's abundant mercy and His unconditional love. We have a

passion to see people's lives touched and changed by Jesus Christ.

First Touch Ministry The Greeters and Ambassadors greet worshipers and escort them to their seats, distribute materials

related to the worship service and direct individuals to pay tithes and offering in an orderly manner.

The Ambassadors ministry revolves around serving first; and ushering comes

second.

Kidz Empowerment Zone The Kidz Empowerment Zone is a place where children ages 10 and under worship. Children learn

about prayer, worship, and the word of God in an environment that is structured for them.

Celebration Ministry This ministry is responsible for making sure that ETCC members are celebrated on Birthdays,

Anniversaries, etc.

Apollos Follow-up Ministry This ministry exists to reach out and thank guests for attending services and to show concern and

care of the church for members who have been absent for awhile.

Compassion Ministry The death of a loved one is an intense and painful experience for most people and this ministry

exists to reach out with love and support to those who have lost a loved one.

Men of Empowerment It's purpose is to disciple men to become more Christlike so they can be the strong spiritual l eaders

that we so desperately need in our homes, churches, and communities.

New Member Intake Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to welcome new members, make sure that they have received

salvation which is a prerequisite to being a member and follow up with them.

Shepherd Staff The purpose of this ministry is to pray for the needs of the first family. The staff provides the support

needed to the first family, whether it be in the form of prayer, encouragement through words, or

other actions that show their love and gratitude to the pastoral family.

Medical Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to provide emergency management during services, educate

parishioners on approved heathcare topics, and coordinate health events including CPR training,

health fairs, etc.

Premarital and Marriage Counseling Counseling is provided for members by the Pastor per request. Pre-marital counseling is a twelve

week course and is the prerequisite to the Pastor performing the nuptials.

God's Anointed New Generation (GANG) The purpose of this ministry is to train our youth and young adults in the ways of the Lord. Youth

and young adults currently minister on 4th Sunday in our 10am Worship Experience.

Sisters of Strength Women's Ministry This purpose of the Women's Ministry is to educate, encourage, equip and empower women in their

journey toward the heart of God. The women fellowship quarterly.
