CellBOX-H/BOXEnergy-saving data logger for water supply network
CellBOX-H/BOX v.2.0 is an advanced programmable multi-channel microprocessor logger, designed for measurement and recording of water supply network parameters,with GSM (SMS / GPRS / EDGE) data transmission to the parental system. The deviceis an essential element of modern SCADA-type telemetry supervisory systems,combining the benefits of new technologies for data collecting and processing with the latest methods of data transmission through wireless networks.
GSM / GPRS transmission in public and
private APNs
Inputs: 3 analog/3 digital + pressure and
temperature measurement
8 definable alarm thresholds with
hysteresis
Function of remote counters
synchronization
Dedicated management software
Compatible with SCADA systems
We offer preconfigured SIM cards in the private APN cellbox.pland provide managementservice as well.We offer accessto the measurement datavia the Internet (any standard WWW browser).We ensure safety at everystage of transmission: IPSectunnels with 3DES encryptionfor connections with customers servers and SSL protocolfor WWW access.

Owing to its compact design and rich configuration options, CellBOX-H/BOX v.2.0 has gained a reputation of an excellent tool facilitating the control over daily operation of complex water supply networks. Professional telemetry and monitoring systems,remote network diagnostics (gradual region testing, sectorization), detection andlocalization of bursts – all of the above can be built on the basis of the CellBOX-H BOX.The logged data (e.g. minimum night flow) can be used in water loss analyses.CellBOX-H/BOX can work either mounted in control cabinets, directly on the wallof a measuring chamber, or at intervention control measurements for a single,ad hoc registration of parameters of a water network. The device can also be used in the process of selection of appropriate measuring devices, e.g. water meters.CellBOX-H/BOX v.2.0. enables real-time measurement and logging of pressure, temperature, battery level, any three physical quantities (processed to a standard 4÷20[mA] electrical signal), or the state of 3 bi-state inputs. Analog inputs acceptany measuring transducer with a standard 4÷20 [mA] output, with its own powersupply or using the recorder’s power supply. Digital inputs accept any mechanicalconnectors, reed relay pins as well as a reed-type OC system. Digital inputs can workin event mode, registering a change of state, or in counter mode, counting successivepulses. Both the analog and digital inputs are protected against the administration of reverse polarity voltage and overvoltage.The device can analyze signals appearing at its inputs and take action according to the deployed algorithm - for example, it may react to a sudden drop in pressure or flow increase. The built-in LCD screen displays the current status of all the measured parameters. Optionally, the device is equipped with an internal pressure transducer and a quick coupler for direct connection. For the version of the recorder equippedwith an optional GSM / GPRS modem, in addition to local data recording, it is possibleto automatically transfer measurement results to the dispatch center. Data transmissionvia GPRS can be carried out in private APN networks which provide permanent IP numbers, or in public ones, where IP numbers are assigned in a dynamic way.Owing to the independent power supply, internal non-volatile FLASH memory andbuilt-in pressure (optional) and temperature transducers, the CellBOX-H/BOXperforms measurements and registration autonomously. The recorder is equipped with an internal battery pack so the device is ready to work off-hand. The internalbattery pack ensures operation of about 5 years, with data registration every 15 min. or less. To prolong its life in the GSM/GPRS mode (option with GSM/GPRS module) it is recommended that an external power supply should be used.The device is adapted for operation with all water meters equipped with pulsetransmitters, electromagnetic and ultrasonic flow meters, and all measurementdevices by renowned companies.
