To continually strive to better my knowledge in hospitality

management, different cultures and understanding of other people to

help assure my best service to those around me.

Personal Mission Statement

Page 4: Career Portfolio

Currently, I serve as the Resident Manager at the NADA Hotel and Conference Center. While serving in this

position, I have gained an instrumental understanding of front office operations in a small hotel setting. In

correspondence with my co-workers, I have worked to help increase the hotel’s average occupancy significantly in the

past two years. Along with this position, I also serve in other leadership positions at Northwood University,

including my position as Chairwoman for the 40th Annual Stafford Dinner. I am leading a team of 14 Executive Board members in planning an exquisite scholarship dinner from

start to finish. I am excited to continue my education, following graduation, in working nationally and

internationally in a hospitality setting. My leadership experience, servant’s heart and eagerness to learn about

the hospitality industry all make me an excellent candidate for your company.
