This presentation contains information about our well building programme in Ghana. For further information contact Jennie Pearson, Community Affairs Advisor,
CS has been building wells in Ghana over the past 5 years: The CS Foundation (our registered charity) and CS Procurement (our cocoa buying department) established a partnership with the Kuapa Kokoo Social Development Fund (farmers’ collective in Ghana) to build wells and provide clean water to cocoa growing villages in Ghana. The partnership was extended late 2003 when we also began working to build wells and improve sanitation with the international charity WaterAid.
Project extended in Summer 2003
CTB launched ‘Ghana for the Source’ a way for employees to get involved and raise money to build wells
