I met Bob at the QSP Summit in March 2014 and we discussed up-selling and cross-selling ideas.

Carlos Ferreirinha

Former Managing Director of Louis Vuitton Brazil for 20 years, Carlos is now a respected luxury expert.

Organizer of ATUALUXO, the most important luxury conference in Latin America.

We met in Paris at a luxury and digital innovation conference, in July 2014.

We talked about the differences between European luxury and Latin American luxury.

Gerald Mazzalovo

Dr. Gerald Mazzalovo is a respected Swiss luxury expert, consultant and book author.

Gerald was my teacher in the Luxury Management master at IE Business School, in Madrid.

An expert on ‘brand aesthetics’ and co-author of a leading book on luxury brand management.

I met Marcus in Milan at the World Business Forum in October 2014.

We talked about the importance of ‘standing out’ when you are in business.

Princess Masha Magaloff

An elegant and truly charming Princess, who was born in Paris.

The Princess worked in the luxury cosmetics and fashion business as Public Relations expert.

We were introduced by a friend, in Lisbon, and had a nice conversation about how luxury was in the 60’s and 70’s, when the Princess worked for brands like Elizabeth Arden, Nina Ricci, Halston,Estée Lauder and Gucci. A true privilege.

Seth Godin

World-famous best-selling author, marketing thinker and blogger. Business speaker.

I met Seth in 2014, at a digital innovation conference in Paris.

We exchanged ideas on luxury marketing.

We did not always agree on all topics, but the conversation was very stimulating.

Susana Campuzano

Susana is a Spanish expert who wrote a book on luxury brand marketing and management.

Director of the Luxury Brand Strategic Management master at IE Business School, in Madrid.

Susana was my teacher at the executive master and we are good friends.

We met on several occasions and regularly discuss luxury topics.

Dr. Michio Kaku

World-famous physicist, scientist and best-selling author.

Dr. Kaku is well known for predicting the future, based on current knowledge of science development.

I met Dr. Michio Kaku at the QSP Summit, in March 2015.

His ideas and visions are impressive and his sense of humour is remarkable.

José Gomes Ferreira

José is a TV star in Portugal. Journalist, best-selling author and TV commentator of economics topics.

Known for his unbiased and sharp opinions and comments on the behaviour of all politicians.

We were fellow speakers at a conference in Lisbon, where we’ve shared the stage.

Backstage, we discussed ideas to improve the political and economic situation of Portugal.

Carlos is a well-known marketing and brand management authority in Portugal.

Founder and President of the World Bank of Creativity.

Professor, book author and brand consultant for leading universities and multinational corporations.

We both spoke at a conference, and later over dinner discussed the positioning of the PORTUGAL brand.

Monsieur Gilles Lipovetsky

Mister Gilles Lipovetsky is a world renowned French philosopher, sociologist and book author.

Prolific thinker on society evolution, consumption and luxury as a sociological phenomenon.

Mr. Lipovetsky was my teacher at the Luxury Brand Management master at IE Business School, in Madrid

We met at a tribute ceremony and had an interesting debate on aesthetics and luxury consumption.

Don Enrique Loewe

Former President of the LOEWE brand, now owned by the LVMH Group.

A member of the 4th generation of the LOEWE family, who settled in Madrid around 1846.

President of the LOEWE Fundación, Don Enrique was my teacher at the Luxury Management master.

We met at a tribute ceremony and discussed the importance of authenticity and meaning in luxury.

Dr. Armando Branchini

Vice Chairman of Fondazione Altagamma, the Association of Italian luxury brands.

ECCIA Executive Board Member, the institution representing 5 major European luxury organizations.

Respected Professor of Luxury Business Strategy and consultant for renowned luxury brands worldwide.

We've spent 2 days together at Porto Luxury Brand Conference, where we were fellow speakers.

Our backstage conversations were focused mainly on the perception of luxury in different continents.

Gijs van Wulfen

Dutch Innovation expert, book author, consultant and speaker.

Gijs created a fascinating approach to innovation in business and wrote The Innovation Expedition book.

We met at a conference in Porto and talked about ways to overcome hurdles in the innovation process.

I met Luke Williams in 2013, at the World Innovation Forum in New York City.

We briefly discussed the merits of disruptive innovation over incremental innovation.

LOEWE

This LVMH Group luxury brand organized the LOEWE Challenges event, in Madrid.

I was one of the four speakers, invited to speak at the private conference for the Board of Directors.

I have been selected to train the marketing and sales teams, of two exclusive dealerships in Portugal.

The training programme focused on the fascination of luxury, charming service and sales techniques.
