BMW diagnostic and coding software (INPA, EDIABAS, WinKFP etc) are no able to log data,

you need a special datalogging software—BMWLogger to work with any USB K or DCAN cable

that uses the FTDI chip, like USB INPA K+CAN with FT232RL Chip, EOBD2 Galletto 1260 or

the Blue BMW INPA K+CAN USB interface (recommended).
