CRM Training Academy Schedule The overall program is 3 weeks. It picks up week 2 after on-boarding in Chicago. The class will be a mix of both functional and technical consulting resources—the underlying philosophy being that both skill tracks need to have a familiarity with the other in order to be effective in building a cohesive team on a live client engagement.

CRM Training Academy Schedule • The schedule for all instructor-led coursework will be Monday through Friday 8:00 – 18:00
with a one hour lunch break. (exception for last Friday, in week 4, which will end at 12 Noon PT).
• Avanade will provide lodging and per diem reimbursements the duration of the CRM Training Academy. New Employees electing to travel home on the weekends should not make travel arrangements earlier than 18:00 on Friday to allow time for their certification exam on Friday afternoon.
• New Employees will make travel arrangements to the training venue (with HR ,through the employee travel portal).
• Avanade will not reimburse any Employees to “fly-back” to their home location on the weekends. (Exceptions to this are possible with explicit approval of the employee’s manager and Service Line Leadership). New Employees electing to travel home on the weekends should not make travel arrangements earlier than 6 PM on Fridays to allow time for their certification exams on Fridays. Courses will begin at 8 AM on Monday morning.
• Ad-hoc weekend team-building or other activities may be scheduled; some may be paid for by the company while others will be optional and paid for by the individuals who choose to participate.

CRM Training Academy Schedule New Employees in this program will emerge ready to be staffed onto an Avanade CRM engagement.
– Week One (Chicago): On-boarding: Basic information about working for Avanade, including necessary policy and compliance training, critical systems and tools, etc.
– Week Two (Seattle): These are the Dynamics CRM “basic training” sessions. New Employees will learn the capabilities of Sales Management in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that allow for tracking and managing of the sales process from potential to close. Next, the course covers Marketing Automation, outlining the tools available for critical marketing activities. Week Two will focus on Service Management (i.e., how Dynamics CRM helps organizations track information about cases, customer complaints or requests, and small projects), as well as Service Scheduling. The final module teaches New Employees how to customize and configure Dynamics CRM 2011.
– Week Three (Seattle): New Employees will learn role-specific company tools, processes, and information that will help them further ready for life as an Avanade CRM Developer, Business Analyst, or Project Manager. We will also use this week to engage New Employees more directly with others doing their role within the Service Line.
– Week Four (Seattle): This is a practical, role-play exercise where New Employees are put into teams and given a set of customer requirements that they will have to implement and present to a “customer”. Essentially, this week will give New Employees a practical grasp of how to bring together everything they learned over the first three weeks.

At the conclusion of Week 4, all New Employees will have achieved certification for:
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Applications for Microsoft Dynamics CRM,
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Developer for Microsoft Dynamics CRM,
OR Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Installation
• Configuration for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
