Other hot topics included transparency of music rights, Blockchain technology, the current state of the Asian streaming market and Sync Matters returned for another year providing a platform for the growing Asian music synchronisation market.

Delegates also heard performances from The Veronicas (Australia), Slot Machine (Thailand), Aaradhna (New Zealand), and Linying featuring Gentle Bones (Singapore).

The future of storytelling was a key theme throughout the day, and the way in which Virtual Reality, the rise of mobile video, and the Asian video platforms market all contributing different perspectives on the topic.

The day finished with over 200 screaming fans joining the conference to meet and hear from YouTube superstar Bethany Mota.

Previously a standalone event, Sports Matters was incorporated into the All That Matters festival for the first time, with it’s strongest speaker line up to date.

Kicking off with WWE heiress and Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, and finishing with Liverpool FC playing legend Robbie Fowler, the Sports Matters delegates were treated to an impressive range of content in the programme this year.

Football Matters returned with top English Premier League clubs Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool all represented. A Sports Matters favourite, the Formula 1 keynote, was complemented by the new kid on the block, Formula E.
