Assignment for Authorizations

''Sourcing Manager''

Sourcing manager will be responsible for initial applicant hiring,applicant master data processing & bulk data processing for different applicants.

To do this he should have authorizations for Human Resources->Personal Management->Recruitment objects.

Following below are the steps taken by ADMIN,to give the above right authorizations to the position SOURCING MANAGER

Go to T-code SU01 and create a user-id for the sourcing manager.

Maintain user info & initial data.

Maintain initial Logon information.

Goto Roles tab.

Initially there will be no Role assigned to this user.

Now we need to create on role and assign it to the above user.

Goto T-code PFCGGive role name and choose Single

Give description & Maintain long text

Goto Menu Tab

Click on the button called SAP Menu given below.

And choose the below objects for right authorizations for sourcing manager. The objects which we are choosing here,will come as an initial menu for the user-id after adding the this role.

After selection

Go to tab Authorizations

Click on maintain authorization button to maintain authorization data and to generate the profile for the above role.

Click on the below button.

Initially the screen will look like below.

Expanding & maintaining the profile.

Maintain the authorization levels, t-code's required for sourcing manager & other information.

Put '*' and give all the authorization level.

And also main what are all t-code's required by him to do his job.

Then save the and generate profile through the below button

Goto User tab. Here we will assign this role to the user.

Provide the user id and click on the button highlighted .

Complete the comparison.

Now if we go to maintain user and check the role for the user which we have created,will find below screen

This completes the Role creation & assignment.

Now when the sourcing manager gets login to his user id,will find below screen.

Click on initial data entry.

Sourcing manager will have authorization to the above displayed menu.

Apart from that,if he tries for any other transaction,system will through error message.
