Introduction:•Anwar Khawaja Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. Was incorporated in Pakistan
on March 21, 1964 under the Companies Act 1913 (now Companies
Ordinance, 1984).
•The company’s quality system is certified by DET NORSKE
VERITAS (DNV) Netherlands in conformance with ISO 9000
quality standard since 1999.
•The company is certified by Fairtrade Labeling Organization (FLO)
since 2004 for its social compliance standards.
•Anwar Khawaja Industries (Private) Limited has established a
modern unit for sports wears and various textile garments, of which
the entire production is exported.
•The company is in the business of manufacture and export of sports
goods especially, footballs. Handballs and volleyballs.
•The company’s name was included in the Guinness Book
of World Records for the manufacture of the world’s largest
football. This football was displayed at the opening
ceremony of the Football World Cup 1994.
•The company has also entered into the field of computer
software development and its related activities under the
name and style of AK InfoTech (Private) Limited.
•The company is producing balls exclusively for Select
Sports, Denmark and at the same time whatever Select is
marketing is produced by Anwar Khawaja Industries.
•The company is supplying more than 2.5 million balls
annually to Select Sports and its customer’s world wide
including Europe and America and has the capacity to
produce 10,000 balls per day.

skirts, trousers and jackets in knitted and woven fabrics

by General Manager Ch. Arshad.

Requirements are identified for the post
Merit is defined for the required job
Add is given in the news paper or on internet
Selection:
All the applications of applicants are reviewed
applicants are interviewed
Then finalized for the job
Applicants are provided permanent job
Orientation, Training and Evaluation:
Training is given on the willingness of employee
On-the-job training is conducted for 3 months on the arrival of
new employee
Performance Appraisals:
Feedback of every employee is evaluated at the end of each
month
Employee’s attitude, performance, attendence and skills(if
increased) is judged and then Promoted or demoted accordingly
Compensation:
Most of the employees pays are salary based
Some works on Contract bases
Wages are paid in case of overtime work
