Analysis of zombie trailers.
Lighting
Trailers studied(From l-r);Zombie Hunter; Zone 261; Night of the living dead
Dark lighting is used in many zombie movies that are more of a serious film. Dark lightening adds effect and mystery, therefore enticing the audience into watching for what happens next.

Scene and Editing
Short sharp scenes were used in the zombie trailers I analysed. These help to keep the audience on edge and eager to see what happens next and therefore
they will go watch the actually movie. Using quick cuts and short sections of scenes, means that certain parts of the movie can be
left out, this will cause a sense of mystery and therefore more of a revenue at the box office as more people will be enticed to watch it.

Editing
A few of the trailers I studied had scenes of text, this adds extra information for the audience, but then at the same time can add more suspense, making people more excited to see the film
Camera Angles and Movement.
Trailers studied(From top to bottom);Holdout; Warm Bodies; Zone 261Trailers studied(From l-r);Day of the dead; Dead Girl; Dance of the dead; FIDO
A few of the zombie trailers used panning of the camera in the very first few seconds of the trailer, this set the scene, time and situation.Very often, this short scene does not explain much of the movie, causing people to actually pay attention to the trailer and this makes them interested in the full movie.
Close-ups are used to connect more with the audience making them more involved with the trailer and therefore the movie as a whole. Close-ups can also be used to show the true feeling and emotions of the characters, this makes a emotional connection with the audience making them feel more connected to the film and they will want to see the film more.
