INTRODUCTION

Alfstore is a solution provider, partner of Alfresco. We are focusing on the Alfresco ECM integration with various front-end applications like Enterprise Social Network, Portal, Collaboration tools, …

For Jive customers, our company has released a new Widget to integrate the Jive SBS platform with the Alfresco Document Management solution. Through this Widget, Jive users can now browse the Alfresco repository directly from their Dashboard, upload new documents in Alfresco, etc... With this component, Jive users can also start collaborating around any Alfresco document using the Jive social features (comments, tags, etc). This document describes the Alfresco Explorer for Jive Widget

•  The Widget exposes the Alfresco library and document management features in the Jive interface.

•  As other Jive Widget, this component can be included in any Jive Dashboard (within Group, Project, Space, etc).

The Widget view only exposes the standard document management features. Jive users access Alfresco seamlessly. No training is required.

The Jive user can browse Alfresco

folders as easily as in a Windows explorer

•  The DMS widget is fully tested on the following stack:

•  Jive SBS v4.5.x, 5.0 •  Alfresco Enterprise v3.x and 4.x

•  IE version 6, 7 and 8, •  Windows XP and Windows 7,

•  Feel free to contact us to request other versions support.

•  Integration with Livelink 9.7.0 is also supported. Please note that a custom Web Service is required in this case.

Enterprise support

•  Alfstore provides a commercial version with Enterprise support (bugfix) and maintenance.

•  Maintenance services gives you access to upgrade releases, compliant with latest Jive and Alfresco versions, and with new enhanced features.
