3.Procurement activities

Under the National procurement:

The Procurement expert and PMO staffare attended to Procurement trainingorganized at the ADB Mongolia office.

The procurement plan for the program isbeen reviewed in line as it stated in theFeasibility Study.

The procurement for the computer,equipment and office furniture for PMO isongoing.

5. Government undertaking

Design for Khoroo building and temporary house for 50 units (estimated total cost is 9.7 billion tugrugs for 2 buildings) at both sub centers are completed.

Land acquisition and resettlement negotiations at Bayankhoshuu and Selbe khoroo building site completed.

Tender for the construction of the Khoroo and temporary house is announced at Daily News and Unuudur newspapers on October 25 2014. The construction contractors are selected for both building and construction will commence in Mid March 2015

6. Financial information

Imprest accounts were opened in a State bank on November 12 2014

Grant - Account # 106000029985

Imprest Accounts replenished by 1,500,000 USD to each ADB Loan accounts.

Project accounts were opened.

7.Future activities

Financing agreement with EIB needs to be finalized with new Government

The issue “ if the PMO needs to be extended” should be discussed between ADB and EA

The selection process of the consulting services needs to be intensified

EA need to put more effort of allocating more office spaces within the PMO office for to be mobilized consulting service firms
