According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, attorneys acting as general counsel for hospitals earned close to $150,340 annually;

A survey by the American Health Lawyer’s Association found that half of all in-house counsel earned, at least, $175,500 a year;

Of those surveyed, 25% exceeded $223,750 and nearly 8% reported salaries in excess of $300,000 per year

Healthcare related general counselors at physician’s offices earned an average of $241,870;

General Counsel at specialty hospitals and pharmaceutical manufactures earned $176,710 and $166,220, respectively; and

General Counsel at outpatient care facilities averaged $147,680 a year
