Our Price Promise:

Our Price Promise ensures our variable tariff will always be cheaper than the standard variable tariffs from the Big Six so you know you’re never paying too much

Every week we check that our iSave Everyday tariff price is cheaper than the standard tariffs offered by British Gas, E.ON, npower, SSE, Scottish Power or EDF. If we’re not cheaper, we lower our price to make sure that we are.

Campaigning for change:

• In September 2013 we launched our Fix the Switch campaign calling on the energy industry to work together to make it quicker to switch energy provider – from 5 weeks to 24 hours. We want to make it easier for consumers get a better deal• Early 2014 and we celebrated the first milestone when Ofgem accepted

proposals to cut switching time to just over 2 weeks by the end of the year• This is just the start. We’ll continue to campaign to make it even quicker so

its easier to change supplier and more people feel confident to switch and enjoy the savings on offer – the average saving when switching to First Utility is £213 a year*

How we’re improving:

This year alone, we’re investing £10m into improving our customer service:• Since last September, we’ve quadrupled the size of our customer

service team as part of an on-going process• A new dedicated team has been put in place to ensure the

quality of service we deliver is the highest it can be• We’ve looked outside the energy industry for inspiration and

recruited senior managers from companies in other sectors

meter readings, change your tariff and view your usage • Our mobile app is available for Android, iOS and Kindle and lets

help our customers get a better experience and waste less energy
