We are glad you have taken the time to visit the CET. The goals at CET are to enhance teaching and learning at SQU through supporting faculty members and departments with the latest technologies in teaching and encouraging the adoption of best instructional practices.

The CET conducts instructional development activities, the CET produces instructional/learning materials and provides media services.

First, we went to the main library and met the supervisor who takes responsible about video conferencing room.

After, sitting on the chairs, we see the setting of standard video conferencing room which includes:

Good lighting

Laptop computers for each one inside the videoconferencing room.

High quality LCD.

Sensor Microphone.

Smart board.

White board.

Room control (server, network, control keys).

Plasma television screen with headphones.

Three cameras in different positions inside the room.

Echo wall.

Two Remote control.

After that, the technician explained the main components of this system and their functions. Also, he showed us how to make connation and how to navigate the system.
