8 Things to Be Thankful for this Year at Wendover Resorts

November means Thanksgiving and that means reflecting on things that make us thankful. Friends, family and freedom are some of the big ones. But, there are so many more things to be thankful for. Like, for example, these eight things:

1. Fights Now, for some people, Thanksgiving means family members throwing down, but those aren’t the fights we’re talking about. We’re talking about all the biggest UFC pay-per-view events, which the Red Garter Hotel and Casino shows in the Banquet Hall on three projector screens. If you’re a fight fan, come down to the Red Garter on fight night and place some bets. Admission is free.

2. Good Food Of course Thanksgiving means good food and a lot of it. And we have some of the best food in all of West Wendover. In the Red Garter, The Italia Ristorante is now open on weekend evenings and the Prospector Cafe has an expanded menu. If coffee is your thing, Beans and Brews serves up a mean cup of the black nectar in the Red Garter while the newly remodelled Starbucks in the Wendover Nugget has extended weekend hours and now stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Plus, breakfast at the Red Garter is only $3.99, seven days a week.

3. Great Deals Great deals are something we should all be thankful for. Getting your money’s worth is good, but getting even more than your money’s worth is amazing. And when we talk about amazing deals at Wendover, we have to talk about One Club. One Club gives you points for every dollar you spend at Wendover casinos. As you gather points, you move up the ladder through the tiers of Member, VIP, Celebrity, Famous and Legend. The amount of points earned varies based on the game type, amount wagered and amount of time spent playing. One Club tiers are determined by the amount of Tier Points accumulated during the previous twelve months. Use your points for those vaunted great deals like dining at any of the Wendover restaurants, staying in the hotels, visiting the bars and lounges, shopping in the gift shops and using Wendover’s other amenities.

4. Comfortable Living We love our creature comforts and luckily for people who really enjoy comfort, the Red Garter has new rooms. From the ultra comfy queen and king sized Serta mattresses to the 42-inch LED flat-screen TVs, the Red Garter has shiny new rooms that will make you want to stay again and again. 5. Birthdays Who doesn’t love a birthday? We certainly do! In fact, the Red Garter is having a birthday this November. The Red Garter is celebrating its seven year anniversary in West Wendover and we’re so thankful that it’s been a prosperous seven years. It’s going to be a big, birthday bash and we’re getting ready to sing Happy Birthday to the Red Garter. (There may even be some cake.)

6. Dancing Dancing is so much fun and we’re so thankful for it. You get some music, you get some friends, you get some beverages and it all equals a good time. At the Wendover Nugget, you can dance the night away every Saturday with a live DJ from eight in the evening to four in the morning. If you love dancing, come to the Nugget and let loose.

7. Breathtaking Nature As fun as it is to stay inside and win big, we also love to be in the great outdoors. We are fortunate to have some truly breathtaking natural beauty near West Wendover.
