• Suhail Rizvi, an enigmatic India- born investor, has emerged as one of the biggest gainers from Twitter's high-profile public debut with his 15.6 percent stake in the micro-blogging site worth a whopping USD 3.8 billion. The 47-year-old has remained a mystery in the Silicon Valley despite his significant tech investments in recent years. So, here are some lesser known facts about the mystery man.

• Suhail Rizvi is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Rizvi Traverse Management and related entities. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the school's Executive Board.

• He was born in India and moved with his parents to the United States in 1971 when he was only five. His father Raza Rizvi taught psychology at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls.

• In early 2000, he first took control of the talent agency International Creative Management (ICM). The firm also helped taking Playboy private for Hugh Heffner. He also bought stakes in Summit Entertainment, which owned the rights to the Twilight series franchise.

• Those in his circle include Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, and Salar Kamangar, chief executive of YouTube. And Rizvi has been seen partying atop Eric Schmidt's yacht, the Oasis, at Cannes.

• Rizvi worked as a real estate analyst while at Wharton, then he started and sold a telecom company. With the proceeds, he financed his first big buyout in 1995, when he bought the electronic manufacturing business of a Puerto Rico phone company.
