Agenda

• Edison

• Wearables in Fashion

• Make it Contest

How might we shape a future where

wearables, either as discrete devices, or

working in concert as a collection of devices,

keep people in the flow of their lives such that

they don’t feel that they have to stop and

interact with a device, OS, software or

services?

Intel® Edison in Action: The Mimo* Baby Monitor

6

• Smart sleepwear for baby–Mimo from Rest Devices

• Mimo monitors baby's vitals and analyzes the data for parents so they can rest easy. Based on Intel Edison, the mini-PC fits into a turtle the size of a baby's hand. The turtle connects to sensors within the Kimono*, a one-piece sleeping garment. The information is sent to the parents’ iPhone* or Android*, eliminating the need for an external receiver.
