When Activision purchased King Digital for $5.9 billion, it bought a company that was built around one massive game. Candy Crush Saga is one of the most successful mobile games ever, and Activision’s ability to maintain and evolve the property could have a big impact on its future performance.

King is exploring the possibility of bridging the popular puzzle series to smartwatches and virtual reality, and Activision has even developed a TV series around the property in conjunction with CBS – due to launch this summer.
