5 Effective Strategies to Infomercial Success
If you want to have a persuasive kind of sales presentation, one of the best things is to
study infomercial. Infomercials are a million dollar industry. It is a thirty- minute sales
presentation in a form of advertising on television, where in the cheapest product can
make sales and keep valued customers from buying your product and services.
Let’s get started with the strategies:
1. Testimonials
If you are not using testimonials in your infomercial, you're missing out on some
powerful direct to consumer marketing that can get you more clients. Using testimonials
and case studies in your infomercial is very much more convincing to show that your
clients are testifying that "this product is very effective" than to just tell them.
Testimonials shows that your product and services are effective and you have lots of
consumers.
2. Problems and Solution
Now a days, people aren't fascinated to trendy, high technology products instead they
are more interested in how your products going to help them solve their problem. Talk
about a solution and benefits they will get and not features. You need to discover
what's behind your offer and connect people on those provisos.
3. Tell Stories to connect with people's emotions
Telling stories is not just for books. TV commercial advertisement and infomercial
productions also gain tremendous attention in using storytelling. What makes this
technique most effective is that it makes use of the real world situation to highlight a
consumer problems. Story telling focus on getting people emotionally attached and
inspired to take action by buying your products.
4. Use paucity and create a sense of urgency
Paucity is the presence of something only in small or insufficient quantities or amounts.
Part of the reason infomercial productions are successful because they uses countdown
clock and hard to resist deals. They make people call before the clock runs out or miss
out on a great deal. So why is that? People are more sensitive to losses than to gains,
they'll create a subconscious drive to take action immediately and come up with reasons
not to act later.
5. Give them obvious calls to action
All customers have different decision modes. Some will decide quickly, while others will
go through the details and find reviews before making a choice. To those impulsive kind
of buyers, give them an obvious call to action and tell them exactly what to do.
