Beautiful Eye Makeup
Start with 3 different colors of eyeliner-- we will be using charcoal,
blue, and purple.
Start with the deep, deep charcoal, and apply lightly.
You don't necessarily have to draw a hard line, you can dot instead.
Now apply blue right over that. Because layering is so vital for a
blended look, we'll add a bit more of the deep charcoal over the blue.
Now take the rich purple-- a blue-purple, not red-purple for a
summer-- and put it right on the upper lash line. Also apply on the
lower lashes, but only halfway across.
Remember:Unless you're working with wide-set
eyes, we're always trying to widen the look of the eyes. If you close up
by bringing the liner all the way around, it brings the eyes together.
Mascara
You should never use black mascara on a summer-- it sharply draws all attention straight to the mascara,
rather than the eyes.
Brown doesn't work either, for the same reason a summer shouldn't
wear brown.
Instead, you can use a rich, dark blue or purple.
Start on the top, and apply, with the most amount on the
outer edge. But try to cover all the lashes. And always put a little bit on the lower lashes.
If you'd like to avoid curling, you can hold the wand so as to
lift up the lashes.
Always take the excess mascara off the tip of the
wand before applying, because that's what can make your
lashes clumpy. Also make sure to get as close to the lashline as possible, to get more color and emphasis.
