The development concept “The Comfortable Adventure Tourer”   Development started in 2008 as part of a survey of European market   Engineers & project leaders conducted extensive comparison testing by riding various

types of bikes in the Alps   Enhance the proven running performance & versatility of current model   Improve rider comfort & revamp styling for better wind protection

 Even with compact design, brightness is the same as current model  Both bulbs are illuminated at both low & high beam  Headlight also contains two 12V 5W position lights

Wind-directing plates"

 Front fender redesigned to allow smooth air flow to radiator  Cooling efficiency increased by the addition of wind-directing plates  Holes in wind-directing plates help direct engine heat away from riders feet

 Foot reach to ground remains almost the same by optimizing seat shape

 Bore x stroke remain the same (81.0mm x 62.6mm) as current model  New types of pistons, piston rings, cylinders and intake cams  Combustion efficiency is enhanced by reducing mechanical losses

 Modifications to the intake cam profiles increased low-to-mid range rpm torque  Single valve springs instead of double valve spring reducing mechanical loss  Fuel economy improved by 10%

 Engine control unit (ECU) powered by a high-performance 32-bit CPU

 Suzuki dual throttle valve (SDTV) system is utilized to optimize flow velocity

 10-hole fine atomization fuel injectors achieve high combustion efficiency

  Throttle-body integrated idle speed control (TI-ISC)!
