Myths:1. Affiliate Marketing is a “set it and forget it” channel2. Affiliates should not be allowed to do search, and bid on trademarks3. Search publishers will not work with you if they cannot bid on

trademarked terms4. Long return days are a must for any program5. A programs need coupon codes to be successful 6. Multiple networks grow your program exponentially7. Most vocal “experts” are not always the best, do your homework, ask for

references

Time Wasters:1. Be careful with forums, not all provide full disclosure2. Watch out for sites who want free samples, but have no traffic3. Limit your time with affiliates who want you to do their job
