Application for Accession: on 9th November 2005
Candidate Status: 15th December 2005
Opening of Negotiations: depends on fulfilment of criteria for membership

signing on 12th June 2006 – during Austrian EU-Presidency
Interim Agreement: economic provisions of the SAA
should enter into force as soon as possible

start of SAA-negotiations on 25th November 2005
could be concluded by the end of 2006
