• Companies which have garnered most negative sentiment are Reliance, Unitech and TATA Teleservices, which are also the top ones to face a huge hit in the stock market.

• Ratan Tata’s personal brand has been most negatively impacted amongst the corporate honchos.

• Nearly 29% of the discussions for Anil Ambani and the 2g scam, say that there is no surprise to see

Ambani involved in this. Furthermore, negative sentiment towards Anil Ambani largely contributed to fall in the Reliance Telecommunications brand name too, with Rcomm’s stock price going down by 40% since the scam.

• Although Ratan Tata has been discussed more in relation to the 2g scam, Reliance Communications

garnered most mentions for its links to Swan Telecom

• It was announced that Anil Ambani had no links to Swan Telecom, yet, positive sentiment for him as a

brand did not improve after this news

• Spicejet and Sun TV stocks both owned by Maran family – related to DMK chief Karunandhi, eroded

by 15% and 20% respectively in the last 2 trading sessions. It is also worth observing that 37% of the top discussions for Kanimozhi ask CBI to interrogate Karunanidhi and Dayalu Ammal
