2. Edit standard pages
Log in to your site Admin
… and click Site Tree
There are 20 pages or
page sets in the Site Tree
1. The Home Page
Enter text for the paragraph
that appears on your Home
page before the 5 news items
2.0 Add a new news item here
Click “+” next to News for a
new news page
2.1 This brings up the new page form
Enter the new page
title…
2.2 Add the title and content
All news items older
than the last 5 are moved
to the Archive in date order
2.3 Add an intro and link and Save
The Intro will appear on the home page as one of the last 5 news items
2.4 Click the Behaviour tab…
… and add the date of your news
item

Use this page to tell your users about
you and your business
4.1 Features
Use this page to tell your users about some of the key features on your site
4.2 Change menu options here
Clicking “No” will remove the name of
this page from the main
menu
5. Subscribe to this site (Membership)
This is where you can add your intro
text for the “Subscribe to this site” page
6.1 Contact Us
This is where you can add your intro
text for your Contact Us
page
6.2 … and your main email address
Do this at once as this
is where Contact Us messages
will be sent
6.3 Enter other email addresses here
This allows you to set different destinations for
different enquiries
6.4 Enter new subject lines here
7. Log in Page
This is the text you can add to the
page people go to after they log in
8. Forgotten your password?
This is the text you can add to the “Forgotten
your password”
page
9. My Learning Log pages
You can update your intro text to all the My Learning Log pages here
10. Your settings have been updated
This is the page users go to when they
change their personal
details in My Settings
11. Course Module intros
On this page you can update your intro text
for all the course pages
12. User profile page
On this page you can add right-hand
boxes to the User Profile. There is no intro text.
13. Catalogue pages
On these 3 pages you can add
right-hand boxes to the course
catalogue pages. There is no intro
text.
14. Register page
This is the text you can add to the
page people go to when
they register
15. Courses A to Z page
This is the intro text you
can add to the Courses A to Z pages
16. Users A to Z
This is the intro text you
can add to the Users A to Z pages
17. Shopping pages (Membership site)
These are 8 pages
associated with
subscriptions. On most of
these there are no right-hand
boxes
18. Standard and Added Pages
These are standard fixed pages. You can also add new
folders here and create new
pages for your site
19. You and MLL Pages
These are standard fixed pages which
can be viewed from your site’s
footer
20. Oops! Wrong page
This is the catch-all error
page where you can add
your own text
Adding Right-Column Boxes
To add promotional boxes, click here
Apart from the Shopping
Basket pages, you can add promotional
boxes to every page
This will take you to this page
Click here to add a new box
On the new page, add your details
Note: the link url is the suffix not the full url
Click Submit and you come here
To add an image, click
here…
… and you’ll come to the Image page
You can use an image from your library or add an image
here
Use this page to add a new image
Tip: make sure your images fit
by re-sizing them to 170px
x 90px first
Now click here…
… and select a picture from your files
Click “Save and Publish”
… and save the image to your library

To go to Testimonials, click here
To add a testimonial, click here…
Now add details of your testimonial…
… and click Submit

… where you can edit or delete the testimonial

5. Site Subscriptions (Membership)
To go to Site Subscription, click here

To add a new site subscription, click here

Add the subscription
price and subscription period and
click Submit…
… and the subscription is added
This is how it will appear on your site
You can also charge for your courses
6. Orders (Membership Sites Only)
To go to Orders, click here
Note: this only applies to
Membership sites
On the new page are all your orders
These orders may be for site subscriptions
or course subscriptions
Click here to go to Order Details
At the top are the customer’s details
This link will take you to the course
or subscription
page
At the bottom are the Order details
To find out your revenue, click Orders
To view Orders, click here
… select a payment quarter here
… and view your list of orders
Note that the total due depends on the agreed
revenue split
You can now send your invoice
7. Members
To go to Members, click here…
This takes you to a list of members
To view user information, click
here…
… which takes you here…
… where you can update any details and click Submit
User information is updated
Check again, click Terms and Conditions and then
click “Check out with PayPal”
To add a new member, click here…
Add details and click Submit
… and the new member is added
To delete a member, click here…
Check the warning, click OK…
… and the person will be
removed
