HITESH DHAWAN
Have the capacity and the will to take risks
Being an entrepreneur is not easy and more than often you
have to take decisions that require you to have a strong
will and those decisions come with their fair share of risks
Trust your gut
You need to do things that you feel strongly
about and hence always follow your gut.
Going steady is better than going fast
It is important to build at a steady pace rather than
going really fast. A sustainable business
approach is better than a short burst.
Best practices are always not going to work for you
While they are a good reference but they don’t
guarantee success or efficiency always. You
need to build your business processes as per
your own.
Lead by example
Your team will follow what they see in you and
what you practice at work.
Focus on the right ideas
As an entrepreneur you are always thinking about what to do next but there is only so much you can do. So focus your energy on selective things and
see them through.
Don’t work in haste
Though it seems like it but not everything needs to be like an emergency
room. Maintain composure and handle
the emergency in a very non-emergency way.
Need to be honest
It’s important to be honest about work, it’s
important to be honest to your team and to your
clients. This is one thing that will help you build
your credibility both internally and externally.
Need to deliver value
As an entrepreneur, your business and service or
product offerings should focus on delivering more
business value than what is expected, it’s the surest way to build your own standing amongst competition and to
command a price that’s deserving.
Always have a plan
Weather short term or long term, its important to have a plan in place. All your plans may not
work but they help giving direction and making you work towards something.
“Success needs perseverance…”
