• J.D. Power ‘APEAL’ (Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) Study measures the attitudes of customers who purchased or leased a new 2014 model-year vehicle between November 2013 and February 2014.

• The study looks at how gratifying a vehicle is to own and drive after the customer has been in possession of the vehicle for 90 days.

J.D. Power ‘APEAL’ Scores


• After being scored on 77 attributes, each vehicle and nameplate earn an overall APEAL score based on a 1,000 point scale.

• The overall premium industry average was 794 points, while the Porsche nameplate scored an additional 88 points with a total of 882 points securing the highest overall APEAL.




Individual Honors


• Three individual models stood out among the impressive Porsche line up and were able to capture customer honors. • The Porsche 911 took overall highest honors in the Midsize Premium Sport Car category. • The Cayenne has long been a customer favorite and the APEAL study confirmed that by winning highest honors for the Midsize Premium SUV category. • Highly practical with the capability of holding lots of passengers, it still delivers definitive power while meeting the day-to-day operational needs of families or adventure-seekers.
