When properly blowing up wheels your car will get better gas mileage plus your tire's life
will be lengthened.
Once you have a tire pressure gauge you may need to check the owner's manual to
obtain the best pressure for your tires.
If you have lost your owner's manual there should be a sticker label on the inside of one
of the doors.
First off you will need to find your ideal tire pressure for your vehicle, which can be
found in your owner's manual, data stickers, or even on-line.
Once you know the appropirate pressure you must make the trip to a nearby service
station and use their air compressor.
The majority of service stations will have one, but if the one you visited did not have
one try the next one.
After that, you must take off rubber covers which are on the wheel stems and now you
are free to connect the air compressor to your tire.
Fill your wheel with air for a couple of minutes and then remove the hose and
place your gauge on the stem to check your pressure.
As soon as you have performed all 4 wheels you can place the plastic tops back on and
you are all set to go.
Without the proper tire pressure you can suffer from decreased fuel consumption as
well as damaged tires.
