Overview The construction sector has seen an increase in the amount of

jobs available in states that include Texas, California, Florida and

New York. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects an increase in

construction jobs by 2020. The Associated General Contractors

of America, also reported that employment in the building trades

has increased in 191 metropolitan areas between in the last year.

The construction sector had been subjected to unemployment

trends over the past few years due to the economy, but in recent

months it has been improving with new jobs being added across

the country. Through the analytics below, you can see the steay

increase that happened between the last two quarters in 2010

until June of this year. These trends are expected to remain

consistent as the demands continue to increase.
